Burgundy Henna is one of the most preferred hair colors among youths. The reason being the classy appearance that it gives to the hair is unbelievable and another reason is that it suits all skin tones, primarily on the fair and wheatish complexion.
To achieve this hair color, people who are oblivious of the bad effects of dyes go for chemical hair coloring and get their hair brutally damaged from tip to roots. Unlike the harmful dying chemicals, we use absolutely raw ingredients which incorporate Indigo leaves, Henna leaves, red clay, and certain herbs that put a special essence in the mixture.
The red clay is primarily responsible for the bright red tones in burgundy color and then the natural herbs play a crucial role in making hair smooth, supple, shiny, and voluminous. Basically, the minerals that are present in red clay keep the scalp healthy and free of dirt.
There is no special requirement before the application of henna on hairs, but still, there are some things that might be helpful like the pre-washing of hairs is not recommended because it will remove the natural oil that lies within the hairs and you will not be able to completely utilize the benefits of henna. The henna layer seals the natural oil within the hairs to ensure better colors, shine and strength. If your hairs are of dry nature, you can so some oil conditioning before the application of henna. The henna recipe can be prepared according to the requirement of the users but for most of the users the basic recipe of henna paste (50% Lemon Juice + 50% distil Water + Henna Powder as per the requirement).
The quantity of henna required depends on the length of your hairs. A 100 gm per ft of hair is enough for optimal coloring and if your hairs are short made use of approx 50 gm henna powder.
